BRIEF New construction of an office building for the new IBM Technology Campus in Ehningen.
ADDED VALUE All offices and shared areas benefit from an unobstructed view of the landscape, which can also be experienced during free time thanks to spacious south-facing terraces, walking paths and a jogging track.
The new building brings together IBM’s research and development division and the German IBM headquarters at one location. The building complex is organised like an urban structure to promote the exchange between developers and sales staff: Four five-storey buildings are grouped around a central “marketplace”, where higher-level areas and spacious communication and recreation zones are located. The diverse working environment based on the innovative “NEW WORK” concept creates flexible working environments with varying degrees of openness, offering both exchange and togetherness as well as privacy and focus.
