BRIEF New construction of an office building with up to 44 office units in Berlin-Friedrichshain | ADDED VALUE The courtyard of the block is a green oasis in the urban fabric, not only for office users, but also for passers-by and the neighborhood.

Development structure

The continuous corridor forms the backbone of the office structure. The multifunctional zones, offices and loggias branch off from it.

The inner courtyard serves as a distributor with equivalent addresses.

Passage

Visualisation: Loomilux

Two generous, two-storey entrances open up the inner courtyard to the surrounding urban space.

In Berlin-Friedrichshain, in the neighborhood of Rummelsburger Bucht and Ostkreuz, the OFFICEHOME Pollux sets an urban planning impulse in its heterogeneous environment. The design closes the outer edges of the property with a ring structure and creates a green, urban courtyard in the interior, which opens up to the surrounding streets with two generous, two-story entrances.

The up to 44 individual office units arranged on a total of six floors allow for all common office layouts and benefit from exclusively assigned loggias and roof terraces. The differentiated façade design with clearly visible horizontal joint tapes and generous loggias allows the building to blend into its surroundings and convey openness and lightness.
