Incorporating sustainable material cycles into design and architecture is a fundamental, ecologically necessary step. At a wide variety of scales – from children’s shoes to high-rise residential buildings – impressive examples invite application and further brainstorming.
The ELEMENTE materialForum connects architects and designers, material manufacturers, technology users and product developers to inform and discuss their innovations. As part of the lecture evening, participants can expect impulse presentations on projects in the field of circular economy. Among others, Jörg Spangenberg, sustainability expert and DGNB consultant at kadawittfeldarchitektur, will report on the new “Moringa” building in Hamburg’s Hafencity, Germany’s first high-rise residential building planned according to the cradle-to-cradle principle.
