We are a founding member of the ARKO Architekturkooperative!

Through ARKO, architects and engineers aim to work together to find solutions to the growing digital challenges in planning and construction.

The aim of the cooperative is to establish an independent, profession-led and fiduciary data infrastructure that protects the copyright and data sovereignty of designers, whilst also enabling common standards for digital design and construction.

We are delighted to be part of this journey from the very beginning and to actively support ARKO’s further development.

Many thanks to everyone involved for a successful launch. We look forward to the next steps!

We are part of the Network of Exzellenzregion Nachhaltiges Bauen

We are delighted to be part of the Network of Exzellenzregion Nachhaltiges Bauen.
Sustainability has been an integral part of our planning and design practice for many years. Right from the start of a project, we consider the responsible use of resources, the adaptability of buildings and their long-term impact on the environment and society to be key planning parameters.
We are therefore all the more looking forward to exchanging ideas with our network partners and, together, providing fresh impetus for the further development of sustainable construction methods.
Thank you very much for the warm welcome!

1st Prize for BOMA+ in Braunschweig

We are delighted to have won first prize in the competition for the transformation of the former Horten site in downtown Braunschweig.

The design uses the existing building complex to create a new spatial connection between the Old Town, Bohlweg, and the Magni district. Through targeted interventions, the massive existing structure is opened up and divided into two building masses, creating new thoroughfares, plazas, and public spaces.

A central component of the concept is the extensive preservation of the existing structure. Approximately 58% of the existing structure will be retained, allowing for the sequestration of about 2,600 tons of CO2 in the structural framework. The design is complemented by a climate-adapted open-space concept featuring a green climate boulevard, new tree structures, and water-sensitive urban spaces.

Many thanks to Rabe Landschaften, Werner Sobek AG, Corall Ingenieure GmbH, and BSV Verkehrsplanung for the successful collaboration.
